SL Freebie Hunters: June 2014

Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Oasis Cart Sale @ The Wash, part 2

We're back with another look at the great deals you can find at the Oasis Cart Sale event currently going on at the Wash. Our first post brought you all the gorgeous goodies we were sent by the designers and this second post brings you pictures of what you can find at the various carts (yes, the stuff in this event was good enough that we went and photographed the carts just to be able to give you an idea of what is waiting for you!).

As with most of the Cart events, all items are 10L or under and some are exclusives for this event which will not be available after the Oasis closes on June 25th. This is an excellent chance to spiff up your summer wardrobe without spending a lot, not to mention a great opportunity to try out a new designer or two.

Oasis Cart Sale @ The Wash

The Oasis Cart Sale event is going on right now over at the Wash sim. The streets of the Wash have been transformed into golden sand dunes, complete with palm trees and beach balls and there are rows of carts lining each street, filled with all kinds of summery, hot weather goodies for your wardrobe and home. The designers have done a fantastic job (as usual!) in creating some truly unique, well made items for the event - including...wait for it...wait for it...a TON of great stuff for you guys! (Gruntification's boots are awesome!) The best part? Everything in the Cart Sale event is only 10L, which makes this one of the best shopping bargains on the grid right now.

The event runs until June 25th, so you still have a week or so to get down there and take a look around. Hope to see you there!
